The One and Only Romance Story I'll Ever Write...

From the first glance, Nancy knew they were destined to be.  His beautiful brown eyes set sleekly into his dark skin.  He had a perfect complexion, smooth and flawless.  He seemed filled with only goodness.  He wasn't like so many of the other men she knew, his eyes were so attentive… following her wherever she went. Nancy had finally found true love.
Through the next couple of weeks, the two crossed paths quite frequently.  Some would claim it was his predictable nature, but it didn’t matter to Nancy.   Each time she checked, she found him there with eyes beckoning to her.
Nancy’s friends quickly caught on to her feelings for him, and out of deep concern they discouraged her from pursuing a relationship.  They often explained that she was too good for him, and deserved better.
Nancy however, could see the potential of their relationship.  Everything seemed perfect.  Though the two hadn’t spoken, they possessed a relationship many envied.  They had a relationship of understanding.  After many nights of tossing and turning Nancy made up her mind, she would let him know how she really felt.
Once her mind was made up, the rest was easy.  She found him quickly, in his usual spot, and as soon as they made eye contact she blurted out her feelings.  A silence followed, which some may describe as awkward, but Nancy knew it was more than that; it was the silence of understanding.   The moment had finally come, Nancy could no longer restrain herself from his forbidden sweetness.  She seized him, pulled him into her once empty arms, and took him to the cashier.  After paying a dollar and six cents she took him to her car.  There, with her heart pounding and her head reeling, she ate him.    After all, love can only last so long between a woman and a ninety-nine cent chocolate Easter bunny from Wal-mart.
